Agile Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Agile delivery-based programs and projects.
  • Assist in defining epics for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with high-level goals and planned ROI.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to facilitate understanding and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate dependencies and execution risks, while ensuring removal of obstacles.
  • Foster a high-performance environment in partnership with team-level scrum masters.
  • Develop and maintain Agile project management standards and processes.
  • Support program delivery through tracking and reporting of key program indicators and project financials.
  • Continually build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adapt plans based on evolving needs, conditions, or issues to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • PMP Project Management Professional Certification or relevant Agile certification highly desired.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field required, higher degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Agile project management.
  • Deep understanding of Agile/scaled Agile methods and mindset.
  • Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management methods (both legacy and modern practices that are evolving).
  • Familiarity with common Release Management Practices.

Physical Requirements:

 This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Agile Project Manager to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
